Interested in commissioning a 'peculiar' pet portrait? Here's how it works:
- Take photos of your pet(s). Please make sure they are high-quality images that can be printed out without looking blurry (if using a digital camera set it on the highest-quality). Try not to use flash. If possible, get close-ups of the animal's face, and try not to crop any portion of their head out of frame. Make sure, above all, that your photos are in focus. Remember, the better the photo looks, the better the portrait will turn out.
- Email the photo(s) to me. The more I have to choose from, the better. Make sure you do not compress them! Although this will mean that the file will be larger, I must be able to print them out on my end. If you need help, I will be glad to guide you via email or on the phone.
- Send your full name and contact info., and I will draw up a contract. You can then return the signed contract with a deposit and I will get to work. Please allow me about a month to complete your painting, allow it to dry and ship it to you. Depending on my workload, I may be able to get it to you quicker than that.
- If at any time you have questions, feel free to email or give me a call.
